Paintball Nottingham  £15.00

The Nottingham Paintball Centre strives to ensure a player’s day meets all expectations. The work that goes behind the scenes is very important - at Nottingham Paintball we deliver: good safety, good equipment, good staff, safe playing zones and great paintball game scenarios as standard.

Situated in the heart of Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, our Nottingham Paintball Centre is able to accommodate up to 250 paintballers at any one time, but don't worry we won’t play 125 on each team! The Paintball Jungle has a range of individual paintball zones; each paintball zone is set in its own area of woodland enabling your squad of between 30-40 players to be formed into 2 teams to play against each other.

We believe the paintball equipment you receive for your safety, protection and enjoyment should be in the best possible condition. To ensure this, all the safety equipment you will be issued with is meticulously inspected every day, with only the best recreational equipment being used.

Your safety and well-being is paramount; we have a simple policy that if you are not happy with any of the equipment you receive, let a member of staff know and it will be changed no questions asked.

As well as the standard protective paintball equipment we also provide body armour for ladies and juniors; it is available for the gentlemen, but the stick from the rest of his mates is often too much to handle; but if he wants it, it's available!!

We believe our varied paintball games zones are second to none. That's not us just saying it, it’s based on customers’ feedback.... We challenge you to find a site with the variation we can offer. All the images shown on this web site are of our Nottingham paintball facility.

We have a comprehensive Health and Safety document, supported with full site risk assessments and a £5 million insurance cover of which copies are available on request.

All of the above still would not be enough, if on the day the staff looking after you did not care. On your paintball event day you will be looked after by our fully trained events managers and staff. All staff are uniformed and in radio communication with each other; your squad will have its own team of marshals with your own paintball game manager to ensure continuity during your day.

At the Jungle, the emphasis is on Safety, Service and Quality. So what are you waiting for? Round up the troops, pick a date, start working on your tactics and get yourself down to the Paintball in Nottingham!

Game Zones Include:

Close Quarter Battlefield

Nottinham Paintball's link with the past. On the C.Q.B. you will find one of the 1st game objectives ever used in paintball in the UK. Its a shame to say that some paintball sites still only play this game format, the format in question is the good old-fashioned capture the flag game. We're not dissing our roots but after a couple of flag games you need more of a tactical challenge to keep you buzzing.

That said, our C.Q.B. field is one the largest fields on the site, you can't see the opposition from your start point and they cant see you. The field has over 50 solid timber "V" shaped barricades giving you excellent cover from incoming fire, the draw back is that while your head is down, you can't see what the enemy is doing. They say information is power so you've got to keep your head up, but that's easier said than done when there's a wall of paintballs flying at you!

The Castle

You should have all seen the movies, but even Robin Hood didn't have it this tough! Our castle is a five sided, three level construction. The ground floor is dangerous because of the doors and windows. The 1st floor is no easier because the only way to get a shot off is to come above the outer wall which exposes your head and shoulders to the marauding attackers. Set high in the tree line are the three crow's nests with your (hopefully) best marksman in them, as they have the advantage of looking down on the attackers.

No one said defending was easy, the only way out for the defending team is straight to the elimination zone. The paint is flying in from all five sides. The noise as the paintballs hit the outer walls is deafening! You can't tell if it's the screams from the attackers or your own team mates that keep piercing the air. There is nowhere to run, the phrase "shooting fish in a barrel" springs to mind. Then the realisation comes its: it's them or me, better to go down fighting than to lose and survive to tell the tail of losing.

The Wild West

The one of the newest paintball fields at the Nottingham Paintball Venue, opened summer 2005 is the aptly named Wild Wild West. The Wild West field is amazing, even if we do say so ourselves! The Wild Wild West is a 50 metre long, 5 metre wide street scene, it could be out of those old spaghetti Western's you may have watched.

Half way down the street is a road running off to the side, the Wild West has all the usual haunts, a saloon with double swinging doors, a ticket office for getting on that last stagecoach out of town, a bank, a church, jail house and more. You can check in to Don's Hotel with great views of the main street, but be warned, the chances of getting a good nights sleep are remote - with windows all round it's not just the wind that will be whistling through, there will be paintballs everywhere!

The Bridge Field

Nottinghams bridge game has 4 crossing points, each different, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. The pillar box is a solid, stilted enclosure with long open ramps for access - getting in is easy, getting out is another matter.

The low bridge gives you quick access to the other side but if the opposition have a man stationed in the right place you are running straight at him with nowhere to hide. Finally, the spider tunnels, allowing you safe passage all the way to the enemy's side but a single door way out means you can't see left or right until you exit and who knows what is lying in wait for you...

Bunker Hill

Bunker hill is the second largest playing zone on the site and is possibly one of the hardest to win. Over 2000 sand bags create a network of strategically placed bunkers across the diamond shaped field. Set across the middle of the field are a selection of wild horses (timber cut out for all you animal lovers!). Each team has a 2 floor pillar box constructed from 100s of sand bags.

Tank Mania

Our latest playing zone is receiving rave reviews from lots of our customers. This field contains 12 tanks and gives all players the opportunity to play a new field, with a variety of different gaming options.

Village Assault

Nottinghams Paintball Village is a sight to behold. Built over undulating ground there are in excess of 40 village dwellings, with a large 4 room Village Hall in the centre. Either side of the village are two rival gang houses, they are larger than the village huts and can easily house up to 25 people.

The buildings are so dense that you can't see from one side to the other or from one end to the other. Some of the huts have more than one way in and out, all have windows, some on all four sides.

The Village Hall has multiple entrances and exits, windows on all sides and internal dividing walls. This means that you could quite easily be in there at the same time as opposing players.

This field is great for having an element of surprise, but remember, the element of surprise works for both teams.
